BANDA ACEH, BBG NEWS – A total of 300 Education Profession Program (PPG) Category 1 In-service Teachers, Batch 3 in 2023, participated in an orientation at the UBBG campus. The event took place virtually on Wednesday (11/15/2023). Dr. Hj. Lili Kasmini, S.Si., M.Si., the UBBG Rector, welcomed the attendees of the PPG Daljab K1 Batch 3, affirming their status as part of the UBBG campus community. She expressed her hope for their strong commitment, emphasizing that dedicated efforts yield fruitful results.

Reflecting on previous years, she highlighted that UBBG’s PPG graduation rate has been consistently increasing, nearing 90% annually. This achievement is attributed to the guidance of experienced faculty members, excellent LMS admin services, and the commitment of the students. Collaboration from all parties contributes significantly to this graduation rate improvement. Acknowledging potential challenges like internet connectivity issues and IT proficiency gaps, she encouraged participants to remain enthusiastic and give their best effort, especially with round-the-clock admin support available.

“Congratulations once again to all PPG participants. With sincere commitment, God willing, everyone will succeed. You are now integral members of UBBG, responsible for spreading positive news to the community. May this PPG endeavor be smooth and blessed by Allah,” she conveyed.

Meanwhile, PPG Coordinator at UBBG, Rika Kustina, M.Pd., revealed that the PPG Daljab K1 Batch 3 comprised 300 participants, with a majority from the Primary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD) – 150 participants. This was followed by 30 participants each from the English Language Education, Indonesian Language Education, Early Childhood Education (PG PAUD), Physical Education, and Mathematics Education programs. Rika emphasized the continuous increase in PPG participants at UBBG. Apart from PPG Daljab, UBBG also manages PPG Prajab, reflecting the trust and appreciation from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbudristek). The success of the PPG programs at UBBG has been instrumental in this growing trust, evident in the rising number of graduates annually.

She also lauded UBBG as the finest Private Higher Education Institution (PTS) in Aceh, a point of pride for the participants. Recently, UBBG swept all awards for Best Public Relations Performance from LLDikti Wilayah XIII Aceh, encompassing categories such as Website, Social Media, and Public Relations Personnel. This recognition underscores UBBG’s excellence in disseminating information, including details about the PPG programs, to the public.
