BANDA ACEH, BBG NEWS – Not only students, but UBBG lecturers also continue to produce more achievements. Dr. Rita Novita, M.Pd., a lecturer in Mathematics Education at UBBG who also serves as the Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs and Innovation at the local campus, was elected as the Academic Leader on Saturday, October 7, 2023. This was based on the assessment of the results of the selection of lecturers as the Academic Leader for the year 2023, which took place on September 19 at the LL Dikti Wilayah XIII Aceh office.
Dr. Rita Novita, M.Pd., the selected lecturer, expressed her gratitude to Allah SWT and also thanked the rector and the academic community of UBBG for their prayers and support that led to this proud achievement. She added that she did not expect to be selected because the competition was very tough.
“There are criteria for assessment in this Academic Leader selection event, including professional competence, MBKM insights, publications, career progression, innovation, and so on. Alhamdulillah, I was able to fulfill all of them successfully,” she said.
Meanwhile, in a separate location, UBBG Rector Dr. Lili Kasmini, S.Si., M.Si., congratulated and wished success to the UBBG lecturer for the prestigious achievement in the competition for outstanding lecturers at LL Dikti Wilayah XIII Aceh. This achievement will have an impact on improving the quality of UBBG campus as one of the best private universities in Aceh, heading towards a smart university. It is hoped that this can be an inspiration for other lecturers in self-development and the ability to compete both nationally and internationally. We must improve our performance, not be content with success, as the times are constantly evolving, and competition is getting tougher.
