UBBG confers 126 graduates from FSTIK, with the Rector’s message: Contribute positively to the community !

BANDA ACEH, BBG NEWS – A total of 126 graduates from the Faculty of Science, Technology, and Health were honored at the October 2023 Graduation Ceremony. The event took place at the Plenary Hall of the local campus on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. The participants who were honored included 65 graduates from the Midwifery program, 26 graduates from the Nursing program, and 35 graduates from the Professional Nurse Education program.

The Dean of FSTH UBBG, Ully Muzakir, MT., extended congratulations and well-wishes to the graduates who were honored. She expressed hope that the graduates would serve and dedicate themselves to the welfare of the community, nation, and country. She encouraged the graduates to develop innovative ideas and creativity as they enter the workforce. Given the competitive nature of the job market, it is essential to continually sharpen their skills. UBBG has a proven track record in educating healthcare graduates in Aceh, and she also expressed her appreciation for the achievements of the graduates.

“Thanks to the committee for organizing this event so well,” she said.

UBBG’s Rector, Dr. Hj. Lili Kasmini, S.Si., M.Si., stated that UBBG is one of the outstanding universities in Aceh with a significant mission to enhance human resources in the fields of technology, education, and health. This can be seen in the success of nursing and midwifery alumni who work in renowned hospitals in Aceh. The high number of graduates is attributed to the guidance provided by the lecturers and facilitators. Many creative and innovative efforts have been developed, and it is expected that these efforts will continue to be improved in the future.

She added that UBBG has already achieved numerous milestones, including the PGSD program earning an excellent accreditation, recent achievements of UBBG students as the sole private university in Aceh to win the KDMI championship and the Aceh POMDA Championship, receiving ISO certification, being recognized as the Best Private University in Aceh by the LL Dikti Region XIII Aceh, and more. UBBG is also actively participating in the MBKM program, with many students joining initiatives like the Campus Teaching Program, MSIB, Independent Entrepreneurship, and Independent Student Exchange programs at renowned Indonesian universities.

“Our message is that the journey is not over. You must continue to learn because knowledge keeps evolving. Contribute positively to society. One more thing that is most important, carry the good name of our beloved university wherever you go,” she concluded.

The event proceeded with the reading of the midwifery oath and the presentation of awards to the best midwifery graduates by the Dean of FSTH, as well as awards for the overall best graduates.
