UBBG Rector Welcomes 43 Inbound PMM Students from 27 Renowned Universities Across Indonesia.

“BANDA ACEH, BBG NEWS – UBBG Rector, Dr. Hj. Lili Kasmini, S.Si., M.Si., warmly welcomed and celebrated the arrival of 43 Inbound Program of Independent Student Exchange (PMM) students from Batch III in 2023. The event took place after the ceremony on the university campus grounds on Monday, September 18, 2023. The ceremony was attended by university leadership, faculty, and staff. The ceremony was further enlivened by the presence of 1,700 new students who joined to witness the welcoming of the Inbound students.

In her welcoming address, UBBG Rector Dr. Hj. Lili Kasmini, S.Si., M.Si., congratulated the Inbound PMM Batch of 2023. She emphasized that students, as pioneers of change agents, should engage in creative, innovative, and socially impactful endeavors. One of the activities that can enhance the role of students is through the Independent Student Exchange Program. This program offers opportunities to acquire knowledge, skills, and insights from different universities, ensuring that graduates will be competent and ready to compete in the job market. It’s a vital part of the effort to enhance the country’s skilled workforce.

“Today, we deliberately invited our new UBBG students so that they can understand and be motivated to participate in the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) program. You should be proud to travel across Indonesia and experience the diverse cultures of the archipelago. Thanks to the MBKM UBBG team for initiating this activity,” she said.

Ns. Eridha Putra, S.Kep., M.Kep., Secretary of the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) Unit, explained that the Inbound student exchange is a learning activity for students from other universities within the university’s study programs. There are 43 Inbound students at UBBG from 27 renowned universities across Indonesia, including Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Universitas Padjajaran, Universitas Negeri Makassar, Universitas Djuanda Bogor, Universitas Esa Unggul Jakarta, IKIP Budi Utomo, Universitas PGRI Semarang, IKIP Siliwangi, Universitas Garut, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo Jawa Timur, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar, Institut Pendidikan Indonesia Garut, Universitas Hamzawandi, Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara, STKIP Andi Matappa, Universitas Bhinneka PGRI Tulungagung, Universitas Muhadi Setiabudi, Institut Pendidikan dan Bahasa Invada, Universitas Qamaruddin, Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka, Universitas Singaperbangsa Kerawang, STIKes RS Husada, STKIKep PPNI Jawa Barat, Universitas Nusa Cendana, Universitas Nusa Nipa, Universitas Khairun Ternate Maluku Utara, and Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta. These students will undertake the PMM program for one semester at the UBBG campus.”
